This information packed, comprehensive work-at-your-own-pace online workshop is exclusive to black and white imagery with an emphasis on capturing day to day childhood in an emotive way. Available for the intermediate and advanced photographer, the intensive, thought provoking coursework has artistically rooted lessons and progressive assignments intended to help you to "see" the world in black and white. By taking it back to the roots of art, you'll learn what light, shape and depth really are all about. As you do so, it will grow your visionary knowledge and refine your development for producing rich, impacting monochromatic imagery without the need or use of presets. This workshop is intended to take you out of your comfort zone and push your creative limits with over 40 pages of thorough, descriptive guidelines, visual examples and encouraging feedback along the way. Prior familiarity with exposure adjustments, levels, curves, layers, masks, cloning and brushes is necessary. The course outline is intended to coincide with the Long Term Mentoring plan and runs approximately five weeks.
Independent study is also available as an option.
Due to the nature of the content, this course is not available for photographers that offer black and white actions, presets or monochromatic educational resources.
