Late 2017, I had a conceptual idea that I knew would need a special kind of Lens to get the in-camera look that I wanted to achieve. Initially I considered Petzval, but they were well past my budget at the time. Thank goodness I stumbled across Lensbaby, because their Twist 60 was just what I needed. I instantly fell in love with the company and was hooked on discovering more of their incredibly versatile and artistic optics. So next in late '17-early '18, I had the opportunity to beta test the Burnside 35, with which I also wound up making into a winter photo series. Shortly after, I got my hands on the Sol 45 and the Edge 50, and in 2019 I was fortunate to add the Velvet 85 and Sweet 50 to the collection. Here's a sampling of work I've produced with Lensbaby, with the hopes of helping others get a good idea of what their wonderful optics are capable of:)
